Ranna Maari (Mixed Seafood, Maldivian Chilli, Curry Paste, Coconut Milk)
"Back in the days, the name RANNA MAARI was the name of a sea monster that would come from the ocean according to a folklore. Hence, I used this name for the dish because the dish consists of different types of Seafoods.”
Ingredients
- 250 Gram Mixed Seafood
- 2 nos Maldivian Chili
- 2 inch Pandan Leaves
- 1 Tsp. Ginger Paste
- 1 nos Orion
- Salt (to taste)
- 7 nos Curry Leaves
- Black Pepper powder (to taste)
- 50g Maldivian Curry Paste Tomato Paste
- 1 Tsp. Garic Paste
- 2 nos Maldivian Chili
- 2 inch Pandan Leaves
- 1 Tsp. Ginger Paste
- 1 nos Orion
- Salt (to taste)
- 7 nos Curry Leaves
- Black Pepper powder (to taste)
- 50g Maldivian Curry Paste Tomato Paste
- 1 Tsp. Garic Paste
Preperation
1. Slice Onion, Maldivian Chill and Mixed Seafood
2. Place in adequate pot or pan, put all and heat it up.
3. Add Onion, Curry Leaves, Pandan Leaves, Maldivian Chili, sauté until it turns brown.
4. Add Garlic and Ginger Paste then cook for a for a while.
5. Add Tomato Paste and Maldivian Curry Paste then cook for a while.
6. Add the Mixed Seafood and cook until the Seafood becomes tender.
7. Add Fresh Coconut Mik cook for 3 minutes.
8. Serve with Roshi or Rice.
