Chef Ibrahim Zuhair holds a BSc in Culinary Arts Management, and over 18 years of industry experience in the Maldives. He currently works at Open Space as Executive Chef.
Previously, he has worked at top resorts in the Maldives, including Hilton Maldives, Oaga Art Resort, Siyam World, and Soneva Jani.
At the latter, he would prepare pop-up dinners of Maldivian delicacies at a private beach. This beach would be named “Zuhair’s Beach”.
Chef Zuhair has showcased his culinary talents at many local and international platforms, and won prestigious accolades, including second place at the 1st Indonesian Halal Chef Competition 2023. He has also had the privilege to serve three Presidents of the Maldives.
