Chef Ishaq Solih

Chef Ishaq Solih over 30 years of experience in the culinary arts scene of the Maldives.

He holds a BSc in Culinary Arts Management from the Maldives National University, and has completed numerous training courses from Maldives and abroad.

Chef Ishaq has worked at top positions of various resort kitchens in the Maldives. Currently, he is the Executive Chef at Royal Island Resort, where he fosters a culture of strong work ethic, sustainability, and zero-waste practices.

Chef Ishaq Solih is a WorldChefs-certified Continental Judge (Culinary Arts & Hot Kitchen), and the first recipient of the National Award of Recognition in the field of Promotion of Culinary Arts by the Government of Maldives, in 2014.
